Youth Group at GCC

Grace Community Youth Group exists to make disciples of the next generation. Designed for all students in grades 7-12, GCCYG is a place where students can come to strengthen relationships with peers and learn Biblical truths. Studies are geared primarily toward understanding the foundational truths of the God and the Bible as well as practical application of Biblical truths in a young adults life. GCCYG is a place where students are able to ask questions and voice concerns about the Bible, God, and Christianity in an informal and non-threatening environment. Students are also able to speak safely and openly with Christ-centered leaders about struggles and difficulties they are currently facing.

What goes on at Youth Group?

Laughter and fun is encouraged! A typical night at GCCYG involves hanging out with friends while eating some snacks, playing a game, participating in a Biblical based lesson, asking any questions that arise, and prayer.

What else do you do?

Aside from our typical meetings, we plan special events throughout the year. This might be a large-scale game, a trip to an organization that assists others, a concert, a service project, an overnight event, etc. Once per month we offer "Q-tips" following youth group, a time where kids can ask any question they'd like to one of our leaders.

We believe participating in a variety of events and seeing multiple areas where we can serve others fosters thankfulness for what we have been given, a desire to 'care for widows and orphans', and a passion to tell of the love of God to others...all of which glorify God and make us more like Chirst!

Join Us!

If you're a student in 7-12 grade, we'd love to have you join us! We meet every Wednesday from 6:30-8:00 at the church building. Also, feel free to contact us with any other questions you have.
